About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hososhima, Japan, Shanghai, Okinawa

Will we be covered on cruise with the 144 hour exemption for Shanghai for two days. We are coming from Japan then continuing on to Okinawa, then Taiwan ending in Hong Kong.

No, it won’t be covered by the 144 hour free transit. You need to apply for a tourist L type entry permit beforehand.
