About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

I am a UK Citizen. We fly from London to Beijing, then from Beijing to Tagbilaran(Philippines) 65hrs

We land in Beijing at 9am on Sunday the 18th of December and fly out of Beijing to Tagbilaran on the 21st on December at 1:00am, does this mean that we are eligible for the 72hr free transit? And does the 72 hour free transit mean that we do not need to purchase a Chinese visa? HELP, we leave in less than a month and only just realised we may need visas!

Sophie, yes, it means that you qualify for the 72 hour free transit in Beijing. And then you don’t need to purchase a Chinese entry permit.
