About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Can I arrive in Shanghai by boat and leave by air and qualify for the 72 hour visa? I'm USA citizen.

If you will fly to a third country or region instead of the last one you come from after staying for less than 72 hour in Shanghai, you will be able to enjoy the 72 hour free transit in Shanghai.
