About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transiting twice in China - can I use 72 hr free transit?

I will be travelling LON-PEK-AKL on 19June and spending 2 days in Beijing. Then on 11July I will travel AKL-PEK-LON spending another 2 days in Beijing.

Can I use the transit visa twice? Once in each direction?
