About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

Filipino permanent resident in Japan

Hi, I'm a Philippine passport holder with a permanent residence visa here in Japan. I'd like to go on a sightseeing tour to Shanghai and Guangzuo for 5 days, am I eligible for the 144-hr free transit

Eden, no, you are not eligible for the 144 hour free transit. You need to apply for a tourist L type entry permit in advance for your travel.
