No, actually.. Just want to know for my friend. She's renewing her student X type...just want to know how much exactly is the fee...and how long the visa is?

If she holds student X1 type and want to renew her residence permit. It will cost CNY 400 for one-year residence permit. It means that the residence permit will be valid for not more than one year.
But if she holds X2 type, she cannot apply for renewal. Once the X2 type expires, she needs to re-apply for a new X2 type if she will continue to study in China.0
