About:China Visa

6 days in China?

I have a Canadian passport. I am travelling from Australia to China, wanting to stay in China for 5-6 days, and then heading back to Canada. Do I need a visa?

Anette, it mainly depends on which city you will stop. If you will transit in Shanghai, Zhejiang or Jiangsu for 5-6 days on such a travel route, you can enjoy the 144 hour free transit in China, and then you don’t need to provide any entry permit.
