About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I have an indian passport, Permanant resident of NZ

flying from Auckland to Mumbai via China on China Airline . The Transit time each way is less than 24 hours . DO i need a transit Visa

You don’t need it because you are eligible for the 24 hour direct transit in China.
