About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

I'm staying in Guagnzou for less than 72 hours during my transit there in this weekend.

Hi,
How can I apply 72 hours visa on arrival in Guangzou? If granted then can I go to Beijing for 1 day to see the Great Wall?
Thanks,

Jane, you need to inform the carrier that you want to use the 72 hour free transit in Guangzhou when you board the flight. After arriving at Guangzhou airport, you need to go to the transit counter to apply for the 72 hour free transit by providing your passport, the air tickets and valid entry permit for a third country.
You cannot go to Beijing when you enjoy the 72 hour free transit in Guangzhou.
