Documents required for Indian living in Italy to apply Chinese tourist visa

I am Indian, just applied for permit renewal in Italy. I want to apply tourist L type to visit my chinese friend. I want to land and stay in China for 8 days and then travel to Hongkong for 4 days and then back to Italy. What documents are required and how to apply for it in Milan? How much financial proof I should show? Please clarify me.

You need to provide your passport and its copy, the application form, a half-length color photo, your residence permit in Italy, an invitation letter from your friend, proof of your financial support, and travel insurance.
There is no specific requirement for how much you need to show in your bank account, but you need to make sure that you hav enough travel fees to cover all your expenses.
