About:Shanghai Metro Line 2

Train Station to Suzhou

Kindly advise which train station is convenience to take train to Suzhou? Hearing Shanghai Railway Station is not safe but Hongqiao Railway Station seems to be far. I am staying at Nanjing East Road.

No, the main railway station is quite safe and it is surely the nearest one from East Nanjing Road. You can take subway line 2 to People's Square, where transfer to line 1 to Main Railway Station. There you can take a bullet train to Suzhou within half an hour. The fare is CNY59.5 for a first class seat and CNY39.5 for a second class seat.
