Work visa renewal

I am currently employed in Shanghai. I will turn 60 in May and my work permit expires in August. Will I be able to renew it? I heard the age restriction has changed.

It's possible to renew it. The age limit is 60 in most cases, but I know some foreigners elder than 60 are working legally in China.
