About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Am I eligible for 72 transit visa?

Travel Schedule is
1) Auckland to Beijing by air china
2) 40 hours of stay in Beijing
3) Beijing to Seoul by Air China but with the separate ticket
AM I able to get a 72 hours free transit?
And I am Korean passport holder.

Tae, if you travel like that, you will qualify for the 72 hour free transit in Beijing.
