About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Am I entitle to get 144 hour free transit in Shanghai

I am holding an australian passport. I plan to go to Hong Kong and will join a cruise to shanghai on Feb.,2017. Then, I will stay at shanghai for 5 days and will go macau for 3 days. Am I entitle to applied the 144 hours free transit visa. From Amy

Amy, in principle, you qualify for the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai, but if you enter and leave Shanghai by the same cruise ship, you may be required to provide an entry permit. You can contact with the cruise ship company and confirm that.
