About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

What is the transfer process from Pudong Airport International T1 to Domestic T2?

Also where is the hourly hotel located? T1 or T2?

Here are the procedures: Flight Arrival- International Arrival Access- Joint Inspection (Inspection & Quarantine, Immigration)- Luggage Claim- Customs- Arrival Hall- Free Shuttle bus to T2- Domestic Check in- Security Check- Go to Domestic Concourse on 2F.

The Hourly Lounge is located at International Departure Hall, 7F, T2. It is only applicable to international passengers, who can check in at the lounge after going through security check. ;)

Ava, thank you.

Can you advise if I need to collect and re-check in my luggage when i transfer from T1 to T2? I am flying KLM into T1 and China Southern from T2. Since its SkyTeam alliance I assume my luggage will be checked in through to my destination which is Xi'an?

Is there no hotel in between transfers that I can stay in for a few hours?

As I know, you should claim your luggage and check in again. You can confirm this with the airline companies.

Of course! You may stay at Dazhong Airport Hotel at No. 6001, Yingbin Avenue, between T1 and T2. You can have a rest there. The reservation hotline is 86-021-38799999. Have a try!
