You should first prepare the relevant materials including your passport and copy of its data page, the completed application form attached with a passport-style photo, your travel itinerary, round trip air tickets, hotel reservation, and personal statement, as well as recent bank statement.
Next, submit the application to the embassy of PRC to apply for the tourist visa.
