What if the female ox also yearns for true love and requires the others admissions and praise.

Why does the female ox come across as lacking sympathy?

Eve, you can surely find your own love in the end and it is only the matter of time. Actually, if you are strong enough and can take good care of yourself, you don't need the sympathy of others. Just be your own hero.
