About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

are 2 72-hour permits possible?

I am traveling Houston to Beijing with 28-hour layover before continuing to Tokyo. I'll be in Japan for 9 days then from Osaka back to Beijing for 52-hour layover before continuing to Houston. Will I have a problem getting 2 72-hour permits?

Abby, no, you won’t have any problem in getting the 72 hour free transit twice. You are eligible for the 72 hour free transit in Beijing in both directions.
