do we need visa

we will be travelling from manila to jeju island , korea..with a layover in shanghai and chengdu, do we need to get a visa? we are holding a philippine passport..thank you

Since you will fly from Manila to Shanghai and then head to Chengdu before going to Korea, I am afraid that you are not qualified for the 72-hour visa free transit and need to apply for the visa in advance.
