About:Hong Kong Airport to Shenzhen Ferry

I want to take a direct ferry from Shekou, Shenzhen to Hong Kong International Airport.

but am being told that American Airlines is not on the approved list. What does this mean?

Well, your airline is not on the approved list. It means that you cannot take the direct ferry from Shekou Port to HKIA Skypier. You need to change the transport method to arrive at HKIA.
