About:How to Buy Tickets

Beijing - Shanghai Train Ticket

I am arriving in Beijing on 24th Dec and would like to travel to Shanghai by rail on 27th on the night ride, soft sleeper. Will it be too late if I only buy the tickets when I arrive in Beijing or should I purchase it online now? Will it get sold out?
