About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

If you would like to apply for 72-hours visa free entry, do you need to pay money?

When can you tell your airline that you would like to use it? During check-in or earlier? (Flying China eastern)

Maurice, no, you don’t need to pay money because it is free of charge.
You should inform the airline that you want to use it before you board the flight to China.
