Travel to forbidden city for senior citizen

My mom currently at the age of 78 will be traveling with us to Beijing this Dec. Is that OK for my mom to go to the Great Wall and the imperial palace if she can't walk for too long?

Yes! Your mom can pay a visit to the attractions. Some sections of the Great Wall are equipped with cableway, such as Badaling, Mutianyu, and Jinshanling. As for the imperial palace, you can rent a wheelchair for your mom near the entrance. May you have a good time! :)
