How to arrange Chinese Tourist Visa

From San Diego, California planning to visit The Great Wall in Beijing for a week after a visit in Singapore then
fly to Hongkong for 3-4 days. Now my question, how can I arrange my visa on my visit to Beijing and Hongkong and how is the weather in April or May? Hope to hear from and thank you so much.

Brandon, firstly, prepare those documents for mainland China tourist visa: your passport and its copy, a completed application form attached with a passport-style color photo, and proof of transportation and accommodation arrangement. Next, submit the application to the consulate general of China to apply for the tourist L visa.
As for HK, US passport holders can enjoy free entry to go there for a stay of not more than 90 days. You just need to bring your passport, the return/onward ticket, and enough travel fees.
In Beijing, the climate is warm, windy and dry but temperature varies sharply between the day and the night.
In Hong Kong, the weather may be warm and humid, accompanied by fog and drizzle. The average temperature is 18 C (64 F) to 25 C (77 F).
