advise for itenarary, hotel & transport in our 2 1/2 days tour in shenzhen from hong kong

Hi, we plan to visit Shenzhen on 4 - 6 of January 2017. We are 20 people and will want to book hotel on our own near the border side. Is hotel nearby Lou Hu area is advisable by you? And we plan to arrive in late afternoon then full day tour the next day to visit WOWorld and Culture Vilage. The 3rd day will be for shopping and in will have to be arriving again in HK Airport at 5pm the latest on 6/01/2017. Can we have your full advise on our itinerary? And what is your proposal for good hotel nearby the border side? Is there any transportation directly to HK airport? Thank you so much for your advise.

Yes. It is a good idea to stay in Luohu District and the itinerary you listed is reasonable. There are many big shopping malls and markets in this area, like Dongmen Pedestrian Street and the mixc mall. As for the transportation, you can pass the Luohu Port and take East Rail Line to Sheung Shui Station, then change to bus A43 to HK Airport directly. The whole journey takes about 1.5 hours.
