Dongzhimen Bus Stop

HI,

Ill be arriving on November 8 at 12MN and will be staying at Beijing Downtown Backpackers. I am planning to take the Bus to Dongzhimen (Bus Stop or Station) then from there take a cab. Is it easy to take a cab during that hour around 2AM? Also, since my accomodation is in an ally or hutong - would that mean I will need to walk? Thank you for your advise and better alternatives to reach my hotel better and cost effective are very much welcome.

Yes, cabs are available around the clock. From PEK, you may take shuttle bus Night Line 2 to Dongzhimen for CNY 21. Then, take a taxi to your hotel directly. You don't have to walk. :)
