I handed my passport in changde police station last oct24 for extension

my L visa expiration was oct26, d police kept my passport and said get on 31st oct., but it wasnt ready that day and asked me few things first and said they will extend it for me, they gave me november1 to november15, what about d 26th to 31st, will that b a problem?will i pay d fine or b in jail? Please help me with this,thanks
