airport to sofitel hyland shanghai

Question

Hi there, We are arriving at airport on the 26th of December around 8:00pm and leaving on the 30th of December.  We are 2 x Adult.  And I am wondering how easy it would be to get on the train with one suitcase each from Airport to Sofitel Hyland and what it would cost for a return trip for two? I did the conversion it would be around $64 AUD for the both of us return?Is this easy to do? and is that price accurate... Our travel agent keeps suggesting a $205 transfer with a private car on way! I think this sounds ridiculous if this fast train will get us there in 8 mins not 40mins in a private car.

You can easily find the train station between T1 and T2, and get onto the train because there are clear English guiding signs and elevators for your convenience. To the hotel, you may take the SMT from PVG to Longyang Road Station. An ordinary round trip ticket costs CNY 80 per person; a VIP round trip ticket costs CNY 160 per person. Thus, the prices for two persons are CNY 160 (about 31 AUD) and CNY 320 (about 62 AUD) respectively. It takes about 8 minutes to reach Longyang Road Station. Then, take metro line 2 to East Nanjing Road Station, Exit 4. It takes about 20 minutes, and the fare is CNY 4 per person. Upon arrival, walk west for about 200 yards to the hotel.
