Visiting Macau from China

I am going to visit China for three weeks on an Australian passport as a tourist. During my three weeks I would like to visit Macau.

Will I need a multiple-entry visa for China?
Thanks.

Andrew, so you will go from Australia to mainland China and then visit Macau, after the visit, return to mainland to go back to your country, right? In this case, you may need to get a double-entry permit for mainland. However, for your second trip for mainland, if you leave from Macau to a mainland and then to Australia all by air, it's possible to use the 72h free transit policy or even 144 hour one in Shanghai. You can check whether you qualify for it. If yes, you only need a single entry.
