My boyfriend and I will be Americans teaching in Spain and will need to apply for Z visas to enter China to teach before we receive our residency permits when we arrive. Can we do thins in Spain or Hong Kong? We will have all the necessary paperwork required for teaching to obtain a Z type. We don't want go go back to the states to do this if possible.

Kayla, you can apply for it in Spain.
Usually, if you don’t have HK residence permit, it may not be easy for you to apply from there.
