9 hour layover in Shanghai

hi, i am arriving in Shnaghai this coming December and i have a 9 hour layover. I am planning a short city trip. Any recommendations/suggestions how to go to city and nice places to see?

You are recommended to take subway line 2 from Pudong Airport and get off at People's Square Station. Then you can walk to visit the Nanjing Road, the Bund area, Yuyuan Garden or Yuyuan Market. They are not far from each other. Then get back to the airport by subway or meglev train.
