From Badaling, you can take bus 877 back to Deshengmen, then take bus no. 27 at Deshengmen West Bus Station to Space Bridge North (11 stops), change to bus no. 74 and get off at Xin Jian Gong Men Station, then walk to the Summer Palace. If you arrive at Huantudian Railway Station, you may take subway line 13 (Xizhimen direction) to Zhichunlu, change to line 10 to Bagou Station, then take bus no. 74 to the Summer Palace.
