About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

Multiple one year visa

Hi!
I'm an EU citizen and a permanent resident in Japan.
I have several trips to China scheduled in the upcoming months.
It makes sense for me to apply for a multiple entry permit valid for 1 year.
I am planning to go to the CVASC in Tokyo next week to submit my application.
Question:
1. what form should I use?
2. Is it really impossible to get a multiple entry permit if I am a foreigner permanently residing in Japan?
3. What other supporting documentation should I have with me?

I can only make one trip to Tokyo to apply, so I want to be overprepared.
Thank you!

1. Anna, you should use the V.2013 application form.
2. I think it is possible for you to get multiple entries from Japan if you are permanent resident there.
3. If you go there for tourism purpose, you need to provide your passport and its copy, the application form with a bareheaded color photo attached, your permanent residence permit in Japan, hotel reservation and transportation arrangement.

Hi Daniel, Thank you so much for your answer. I'll update on here if I manage to get a multiple visa.
