About:China Transit Visa

Hi! We are going to beijin with a transit visa.

We want to buy a ticket to laos but has a stop in kumming. Can we apply to the transit?

Jose, if you want to use the 72h free transit policy, you can't stop in Kunming, but in this case the transit permit is not required. If you need to stop in both Beijing and Kunming, as long as the total layover time is not more than 24 hours, the transit permit is not necessary either. In other cases, you need to apply for a transit G type permit in advance.
