We will be traveling in a few weeks to adopt a child with a heart condition that is O2 dependent.

Will we be allowed to fly on in country flights with a portable oxygen concentrator?

I'm afraid oxygen concentrator may not be allowed to take onto the plane. But if really necessary, you can take 1~2 oxygen bags. But you should get doctor's certificate and get the permit of the airline for taking them in advance. Good luck!
