worried about connection time

Question

Flying from EWR to HND, via PEK, all flights on Air China. Connection time shows as 70 minutes but worried that with any delayed departure out of EWR, might not make the connection. Luggage will be checked all the way through HND. Is transfer time really 60 minutes, and is there anything we can do ahead of time to expedite the process. Will be arriving PEK at 16:10 on November 6 (is it really busy at that particular time)? Departure to HND is at 17:20. Please advise.

Generally speaking, the minimum transfer time is about 60 mins. However, according to your situation, you are advised to change the next flight schedule if possible.
