Z visa renewal in advance

Hi,
I'm living in Guangzhou with Z type from Shanghai registered company. My Z type expiry date is on March 2017. I would like to renew it as early as possible. How many days in advance we can apply for renewal? Is it possible to renew it 1-2 Months in advance?
