how i can get invitation from china for l type visa

Question

I am planning to go to china with my Family ( Spouse and 13 years kid) as tourist. I visited china two times in last five years with business M type. but it will be the 1st time for my spouse and kids. Do we need invitation letter from china or the Itenary and hotel booking will be enough. If we need invitation how can we get the invitation.

I’m afraid you need to book a tour from a travel agency, and then the travel agency can get you the invitation letter.  You may need to apply for a group tourist L type for PRC.
