About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Can I apply the 72-hour transit within one week?

Each one of my transit time in Beijing airport for my round trip flights is more than 12 hours. Can I apply for the 72-hour transit twice within one week? I am a US citizen and would like to eat dinner and stay in a hotel during each 13 hours waiting period outside of airpor

Hank, yes, you can apply for the 72 hour free transit twice within one week, but you may be given the 24 hour direct transit instead because your layover is less than 24 hours each time.
