About:Chinese Embassy in India

Authentication of PCC

Hello!

I am an indian. I have been offered a job in China. I have sent my documents to my employer. They have asked me to authenticate my PCC ( non criminal record) . I have no idea how and where to start. I would really appreciate if you can guide me . I am lil confused as there are many different things are written everywhere on the internet.

you can visit passport issue website to apply and get PCC

Hello,
You have go to Passport office for applying Police Clearance Certificate for P.R. China. after police verification immediately Passport authority will provide you 2 copies of original PCC along with endorsement of stamp in side Passport.
After, You have go to in your nearest Chinese Consulate General of India office (Mumbai, New Delhi & Kolkata, Opening time 10:30 a.m to 11:30 a.m). As per their instruction you have to go to MEA office for apostile the PCC and after that Chinese consulate will accept your application. There is Normal and Express service. You can apply as per your requirements.
After Chinese Consulate Authentication, you have to send original copy to Hiring China Company for issue Intimation letter as well as Work Permit & Company invitation Letter.
