Guangzhou to Hong-Kong by express train: how long does the immigration clearance take?

Do you mean the non-stop Inter-city through express from Guangzhou East to Kowloon, Hong Kong?

According to the Hong Kong MTR Website(who also manage this railway line), "passengers are advised to arrive at the departure station 45 minutes before the scheduled departure time for exit formalities. The boarding gate will be closed 10 minutes before the train departs."
