Marriage and permit in China

Hi, I want to get married to my long time Chinese girlfriend in China but i have tourist/business visa.

Do i need to go back to my country after marriage to apply for resident permit before i can stay longer in China or can i apply for other permit wile in China after married without having to go back and apply from my country? My current visa is 30 days entry. Please advise.
