About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

Melbourne to HK-->--Macau--->HK-->Ho chi minh city-->--HK-->Melbourne

I am Australian Permanent resident but holding vietnam passort. Next year, i want to travel HK from melbourne for 2 days then visit macau for 2 days, re entry hk (stay 2 more days) then will flight to Ho chi minh city (for 2 weeks). After that, I will take flight back to melbourne and will transit in HK. Please advise visa requirements for the travel.

Rainie, based on your travel itinerary, you need to apply for a multiple-entry visa for HK and single entry one for Macau.

Thanks Veronika, but how many entries do I need to apply? Is it 3 entries if on the way back to Australia, I have 12 hrs in Hk for transit and I want stay overnight at nearby airport hotel??? Thanks...

Yes, you need three entries.
