I work for an australian airline, can I buy tickets on staff travel or standby

I work for an australian airline, can I buy tickets on staff travel or standby from australia to shanghai then Singapore and back to australia and be eligible for 72 hours transit visa?

Jim, if you hold standby ticket, I’m afraid you cannot apply for the 72 hour free transit.
