About:China Visa

Do I need visa for 15 hours?

I will arrive in Guangzhou at in the morning around 7am and depart the same day to South Africa at 9pm on the same day. Do i need to obtain an entry permit to go out of the airport and visit the city?

Jake, no, you don’t need it. You can make use of the 24 hour direct transit in Guangzhou. You can just apply for a free temporary stay permit at the airport and then you go out to visit the city.
