About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

UAE National travelling from Dubai to Shanghai and back to dubai

i will be travelling to Shanghai to attend a conference, do i need to have an entry permit or i can get a 72 hrs. transit visa upon arriving at Shanghai Airport.

I will be travelling from Dubai to Shanghai and back to Dubai.

Ahmed, as you don't fly from Shanghai to a 3rd country or region, you are not eligible for the 144hr free transit policy, so the transit G type entry permit is necessary to get prior to your trip.
