About:Beijing Capital Airport Express Train

I will be arriving at Beijing Capital Airport on Sunday at 5:20am.

I have an 8 hour layover until 2:05pm later that day. I would like to go outside, see the Tiananmen square. Possibly have lunch somewhere. Would that possible? Also what routes do I need to take on the train?

In general, it takes 30 to 60 minutes to check out upon landing. Take Airport Express from PEK to Dongzhimen Station, and change to metro line 2 to Jianguomen Station. Then, switch to metro line 1 to Tiananmen East Station, Exit A.

You can enjoy the Tiananmen Square and Hutongs. You can have lunch at Wangfujing Snack Street. Afterwards, take a taxi back to PEK for about CNY 80 to 90. Remember to return to PEK at least two hours before departure. :)
