Hiking great wall

Hello,

Ive been told that there are some hikes not far from the great wall, you can see the wall in the distance while walking. Is it doable in a day from Beijing? Can anybody help me to find this info?

There are several sections of the wall for travelers to hike, such as Jinshanling, Mutianyu, Simatai, etc. It is suggested that you hike at regular tourist spots instead of some other places due to safety reason.
