By train: take a train to Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station from East Railway Station at No. 1, Tiancheng Road. The trains are available from 06:10 to 22:31, and the trip takes about 1 hour. A second class seat costs CNY 49 or 73; a first class seat costs CNY 59 or 117.
