Traveling from Ho Chi minh city to Sichuan Chengdu

Hi there,

We are in Ho Chi Minh city now and would like to make a 4-day-trip to Sichuan (Jiuzhaigou and the Leshan Giant Buddha) around mid-November and then back to Hanoi city in Vietnam.

Any recommendations about the route, transportations?

It is not suggested to visit Jiuzhaigou after mid-November as the road to Huanglong may be blocked due to heavy snow. For your information, you can fly to Chengdu, then take flight or bus to Jiuzhaigou. Stay two days there. Then get back to Chengdu and take bus to Leshan and Emei, stay one night at Emei Mountain and then return back by bus. I am afraid that four days are not enough to cover all the places, you are suggested to extend your travel duration or visit either of them based on your own interest.
